Amazon Prime Day – Coming Soon!

Even though Amazon Prime Day has been delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we now know that it will happen before the end of the year!  According to Fox Business, Amazon released a statement confirming that Prime Day will occur in the 4th quarter of 2020.  “We can confirm Prime Day will take place in Q4”, an Amazon spokesperson said in a statement on Friday.  “We have not made any other announcements regarding Prime Day at this time.”  This means that it will happen anytime from October 1st to December 31st.

In case you didn’t know, Amazon Prime Day is an annual two-day retail event exclusively for Prime members.  It’s one of the biggest retail holidays of the year.  And it’s not just the best time to find deals on Amazon devices like Echo Dot, it’s a site-wide extravaganza that discounts thousands of products across hundreds of categories.

Amazon Prime Day was introduced in 2015 to celebrate Amazon’s 20th anniversary.  It was a one-day-only retail holiday for Prime members that sought to overtake Black Friday as the sales event of the year.  Every year, it’s been in July and has ranked among Amazon’s most lucrative sales events.  So even though the 2020 event has been delayed, Amazon Prime Day promises to be massive.  So don’t forget to visit GotSmartStuff.com when Prime Day rolls around!

Please Note: Amazon Prime Day is exclusively for Amazon Prime members.  For more information and cost to join, please see related post, “Amazon Prime Day 2020.”  Finally, we recommend that you wait until the date is officially announced before starting your 30-day free trial!
